The Gap SeriesGap Series Pricing — More Presence, Intentionally Chosen
The Gap Series is for homeowners who want a building that holds its own on the property — more architectural presence, more included features, and a finished look that reads as deliberate from the first day it stands. These prices reflect that standard, built on your site by Ed and his sons.
Not every homeowner needs every premium feature in the base price. Some want a building that starts with a stronger architectural foundation — better roofline pitch options, a wider door opening, included windows, and a more intentional visual footprint — then leaves room to add only the upgrades that make sense for their property.
That is where the Gap Series stands. You get a well-built starting point with genuine architectural character: taller sidewalls, ZIP System® roof sheathing, LP SmartSide® siding, and an overhang that gives the building a proper shadow line. From there, you choose the upgrades — steeper pitch, metal roof, additional windows, sliding hardware — that move the finished result where you want it.
In other words, you are not overbuying from the start. You are building from a stronger foundation and adding only what your property actually calls for.
Why It Works
A stronger architectural base — included windows, wider doors, taller sidewalls, and more overhang detail — means the building looks intentional before a single upgrade is added.
Best For
Homeowners who want a building that earns attention without asking for it — one that looks finished and right on the property from day one, without stepping into a full Ridge Series build.
Design Flexibility
Standard gable or Saltbox roofline at the same base price. A 10/12 steep Appalachian pitch is available for an additional 10% over published base — the most impactful single upgrade on any Gap Series build.
A 10/12 steep roof pitch can be added to any Gap Series build for an additional 10% over the published base price — the single upgrade that most significantly strengthens the architectural character of this series.

Gap Series Buying Guidance
More Architecture. Intentional Choices. A Building That Looks Like You Meant It.
The Gap Series is the right fit for homeowners who want genuine architectural presence without fully commissioning the most complex build on the property. Start stronger. Add only what the property calls for.
Start With a Stronger Base
The Gap Series already includes more than entry-level builds — taller sidewalls, ZIP System® sheathing, included window, wider door opening, and a proper overhang line. That means the building reads as intentional before a single optional upgrade is selected.
Add What the Property Calls For
A steeper 10/12 pitch, standing-seam metal roof, additional windows, or sliding barn door hardware — each upgrade moves the finished building closer to the architectural character you're after. You choose only what makes sense for your site, your use, and your eye.
The Right Fit for Most Buyers
The Gap Series lands where most homeowners actually want to be: past basic storage, short of full architectural complexity, and firmly in the range where the building looks like a deliberate property decision — because it was.
Why Homeowners Choose the Gap Series
The Gap Series is the middle ground that makes the most sense for homeowners who want genuine architectural presence, real on-site construction, and the flexibility to shape the final result — without paying for every feature the Ridge Series carries as standard. Stronger foundation, intentional upgrades, honest price.
